Our frequently asked questions:
.
Do you install the flooring?
Nope, but if you need some numbers of people who may have bribed us and also happen to do a really good job then we’ll be happy to help.
Do you buy back unused materials, unlike the big online outfits?
Of course we do, we’re amazing! unfortunately some special orders are exempt but our T’s & C’s page outlines the nitty gritty.
Can I have a sample?
Sure, pop in or give us a call to sort something out, just don’t ask for a coffee – it’s awful, but there is a lovely tea room opposite which is almost a day out!
Do you deliver?
Yup, 3 pallets of Kandala Grey sandstone will be a tight fit in the boot of most hatchbacks, but when you place your order with us (which you will because we are amazing and you’ve come this far) we’ll go through delivery details, sometimes your installer will help or have special requirements, we can liaise with them too.
Will my stone floor last forever?
We certainly think so, most of our stone is millions of years old and if it’s installed well it should outlast the house.
What are the different stone types?
It’s been a while since we were in shorts at school, so we had to google this one: There are three main rock types: sedimentary rock, metamorphic rock and ingenious rock. Our products also include some man-made materials like ceramic pavers. Limestone and travertine are sedimentary rocks. Marbles and slates are metamorphic. Granite is an ingenious rock. The Rock is not stone, he’s just an actor with a good eyebrow lift.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
Nope. That was an easy one, come and see us.
Do you have a laying pattern diagram?
Of course, and we have a few answers to this question below as it depends on the products you buy:
1) you can discuss this with us when you order and we’ll advise on the perfect solution,
2) you can discuss it with the people you may ask to install it as when they are on-site things change,
3) and here is a link to a google search – if you want to research it independently: Search

Can stone add value to my property?
Of course we would say yes, but quality sells and estate agents agree, however we think as a homeowner you should enjoy it regardless of the property value – and as a property developer you should buy all of our stock immediately, just in case we put the price up!
Can I invite my local Mayor round to show off my fancy new patio?
Certainly, but as we didn’t install it – we can only promise that the stone itself is wonderful.
